Ukrainian Forces Launches Large-Scale Manufacturing of New Defensive Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Ukrainian authorities have declared the start of mass production for a new domestically developed defensive UAV to strengthen its aerial protection systems. The first three producers have started manufacturing, with an additional eleven getting ready to establish production lines, the defence ministry announced this past Friday.

Advanced 'Octopus' System Proven in Combat Situations

The drones utilize a domestically developed technology called “Octopus” designed to intercept Iranian-made drones. The system has been tested in combat and demonstrated successful “during nighttime, under jamming and flying low,” the ministry confirmed.
